Dr. Maddie Anderson grew up in the HEB area and is a proud alum of L.D. Bell High School. She has always known she wanted to be a veterinarian, but her journey officially started at Texas A&M where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science before attending the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2026. While she is new to the practice as a doctor, Maddie has been a part of Brown Trail Animal Hospital since 2018, serving as a veterinary technician while learning from our doctors.  

She is most passionate about dermatology and client education and has a particular affinity for boxers, Frenchies, pitties, and other breeds that can match her high energy. 

Outside of the hospital you can find Maddie spending time with her family and exploring the DFW area. She has a very goofy, very sweet boxer named Winston and a diabetic black cat named Toothless (who is also very sweet!). Maddie also enjoys caring for indoor plants and has the ultimate goal of turning her house into a rainforest.
